I’m very honored to attend the documentary screening of “Brush and Needle – Tattoo culture in East Asia” and Ink in East Asia Symposium at Syracuse University in NY. Very pleased to be a part of the documentary together with Horiyoshi III and get to talk about the culture and the history of Japanese tattoo at the university.
I will be away from Fukui from 17th – 23rd of April. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ニューヨーク州 シラキュース大学で行われる、アジアのタトゥー文化を紹介するドキュメンタリー映画 “Brush and Needle” の上映会と、アジアのタトゥー文化に関するシンポジウムに参加させていただきます。大学で日本の刺青についてお話させていただく機会を大変光栄に思います。そのため 4/17〜4/23まで福井には不在になりますので、ご了承下さい。

 

今月より福井駅前の極楽ゝ(GOKURAKUTEN)にて仕事をさせていただく光栄なる運びとなり、歴史あるスタジオにてより一層仕事に邁進して参りますので、今後ともご指導ご鞭撻のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

I am very honored to announce that I’m going to start working at Gokurakuten in Fukui from this month.

I will continue working hard to produce good tattoos at the legendary tattoo studio together with Kousei.
